It was December 2020. As every year, the British ArtReview publishes its list of the 100 most influential people in the art world. Among them we find museum directors, curators, philosophers, theorists, university professors. Of these hundred names, only 22 belong to artists. First a social movement, the Black Lives Matter, followed by the Indonesian artist collective Ruangrupa. Below, next to the director of the New York Musem of Modern Art, Glenn D. Lowry, below Thelma Golden, director of the Studio Museum in Harlem, a reference institution for African American artists, a philosopher, Judith Butler, appears from feminism and reflection on gender issues.
