The carbon footprint of the European military sector in 2019 will have exceeded 24.8 million tons of carbon dioxide, which is the equivalent of 14 million cars annually. This emerges from a study jointly carried out by the Observatory Conflict and Environment (CEOBS) and the British non-governmental organization Scientists for Global Responsibility (SGR), which was published this Tuesday by the group on the left in the European Parliament.
