Farense wins Nacional and leaves the relegation zone football

Farense, who occupied the last position in the Portuguese I-Liga, won 3-2 in a game of the 19th round at the Nacional Stadium this Saturday and temporarily left the relegation zone.

The Algarve had two goals in front of them, scored by André Pinto (51 ‘) and the Scot Ryan Gauld (62’). The hosts, however, restored parity through João Vigário (68 ‘) and Pedro Mendes (83’), who also scored goals (86 ‘), the Algarve’s first away win.

Farense, who had not won four games in the championship, left the “red zone” temporarily and finished 14th with 16 points (and a late game in Guimarães), while Nacional, who did not lose four games in the competition, he stayed with 21 in ninth place.
