Multiple explosions in Sesimbra. There are no records of Sesimbra victims

In Sesimbra, several explosions were recorded that Friday evening in the Roça region between the villages of Aiana and Alfarim. The Setúbal District Relief Command explains to the PUBLIC that it is a “fire in a shed with a light vehicle and some gas bottles”. “So far there have been no victims,” ​​they report.

The Sesimbra Firefighters, Civil Protection and the GNR are already on site. According to the civil protection website, the warning was issued at 11:15 p.m. and so far 24 emergency services and 11 vehicles have been deployed.

The Mayor of Sesimbra, Francisco Jesus, told SIC Notícias that there were “about a hundred bottles” of gas there.

Speaking on social media, the president warned that “only material damage” was exposed and that the origin of the explosions was a “gas storage facility in the Roça region (between Alfarim and Aiana)”.

In the social networks, the residents of the region report a scenario of “brutality”.
