With the end of the clash! – When classical and contemporary dance collide and new forms emerge, the Almada Dance Company fosters a debate in which it ponders the artistic fruits of this partnership and the challenges of dance in today’s world. The program also includes the presentation of the piece Noir, accompanied by videos of the creation process and interviews with the production team and the protagonists. The free meeting will take place on Saturday, February 6th at 4 p.m. on the company’s digital channels (YouTube, Facebook and Instagram) and will be accessible for 48 hours.
The project, launched in 2019 and coordinated by the Sapienza Università di Roma, mainly focused on the study of the state of the art in Europe and was based on the joint work of five companies: Balletto di Roma (Italy), 420PEOPLE (Czech Republic), Companhia de Dança de Almada (Portugal), Derida Dance Center / Art Link Foundation (Bulgaria) and Polish Dance Theater (Poland).
