With the prospect of having a president as a “friend of the trains” and a secretary in line with his message at the White House, rural America is hoping for a paradigm shift and a clear commitment to rail that will enable new connections and improved services . On this P24 we’re heading to Montana on a trip led by David Strohmaier, chairman of the Missoula County Commissioners Council and director of Big Sky, the Montana railroad agency that wants passenger trains to return to the south of the state.
