Council of Ministers approves the change in teacher holidays and the purchase of computers coronavirus

The Council of Ministers this Thursday, February 4th, approved the change to the timetable that was required after the interruption dictated by total imprisonment. A statement posted on the government website also said that teachers ‘vacation schedules will be adjusted by the school administration in line with the new school calendar to ensure tests and exams are carried out “without prejudice to teachers’ right to vacation”.

This ministerial meeting also leaves the approval of expenses related to the purchase of computers and the Internet for students in need who will return to distance learning with the closure of schools.

The “obligation to present after the placement, suspension or resumption of service” of teachers is now established in the 2020-21 academic year through electronic contact, without teachers having to be physically present.
