The “Spaghetti” Works!!!
September 1, 2010 by Michelle Myre
Under new management, The “Spaghetti” Works is now run under the careful direction of Rick and Jenny Lord. Many people remember the “Old Spaghetti Works”, which was turned into “The Works” Restaurant in recent years.
“We’re taking it back to the old-school Spaghetti Works menu items, with a fresh new twist and contemporary options, including vegetarian, gluten free and Lean and Green,” said new manager Rick Lord.
The new menu is simply mouth-watering, and offers their renown fresh baked breads, rolls and croutons, home made soups, homestyle spaghetti sauce cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients, sandwiches, pastas, you name it!
They’ve not only spruced up the menu, if you haven’t been in the past few weeks, you need to see their murals on the wall. They have totally transformed the formally white, sterile dining environment into a warm, earthy, Tuscan feeling with beautiful facades on the walls. The wall coverings appear to be painted onto the wall, but it is actually a fantastic backdrop purchased from a theater company.
This ingenuity comes across beautifully with their new menu selections, and new management style of the restaurant.
Come on back to the Spaghetti Works – you’ll be glad you did! Now open Monday through Wednesday 10am – 3pm, and Thursday through Saturday 10am – 8pm.
Located at 1073 – 14th Ave, Longview WA and (360) 577-1136.
