With the renovation complete, a new season awaits.

You’ll find all you need to put a years’ worth of entertainment at your doorstep – at an amazingly affordable price.  From the acrobatics of Cirque, the spectacle of holiday classics, to one of America’s most endearing entertainers, you cannot go wrong celebrating Fall 2010 at the Columbia.

At the turn of the New Year, warm your winter nights with a musical journey featuring a tribute to George and Ira Gershwin and the virtuosity of 4 extraordinary international acoustic guitarists.

In March, experience the energy and majesty of Japan, followed by a return to the 60’s with a tribute to 4 guys who redefined popular music.  Then close it all out with thrills, chills and madcap mayhem for a perfectly delightful romp into your summer.  For our younger patrons (3 – 9 years), don’t miss our Rainy Months Series.

The Portland State University possesses one of the finest voice faculties on the West Coast.  How fortunate to have these nationally and world renowned performers back for a delightful late Summer encore performance of “Classical to Cabaret – an Afternoon of Song.”  Come join us for this stellar performance that will take you on a musical journey of popular songs from the stage of the Opera House to the floors of smoky backstreet cabarets.

Considered to be the finest impressionist in America, Rich Little began his career at the age of twelve when answering back to his teachers in their own voices.  Little…hailed “the best impressionist ever” has been entertaining since 1967 and has honed his razor sharp wit into a performance that is sure to leave you laughing in the aisles.  Where else can you get an outstanding performance with a cast of 200 all rolled up in one?

Eileen Ivers “An Nollaig-An Irish Christmas”

Come celebrate an Irish Christmas, with Grammy award winning violinist Eileen Ivers and company in “An Nollaig – An Irish Christmas.”  Best known as the fiery fiddle player in the hit show “Riverdance”, Ivers transforms the stage into a little piece of Christmas in Ireland.  “Christmas” is the setting and home is the destination as we celebrate the best that the season has to offer.
