YEE HAW! It’s Fair and Rodeo Time! Cowlitz County Fair & Rodeo August 5th – 8th
August 1, 2010 by Valley Bugler
Bust out the chaps and dust off your cowboy hats, it’s time for the Cowlitz County Fair and Rodeo!
With numerous exhibits, crafts, and animals, not to mention the rides and candied apples (YUM!), there is a plethora of things to see and do – and where else can you do that for FREE?.
Enjoy the Fair by day and the Rodeo by night – you can’t go wrong with the free Fair entrance that over 50,000 people took advantage of last year.
I even think there is a demolition derby that my husband is begging to attend. Gonna go see some cars get all smashed up – sounds like a rip roarin’ time to me!
On a crafty side, the 2010 Cowlitz County Fair will be accepting open class entries up until August 4th. You can get complete information on their fantastic web site, found at the link listed below.

Nashville’s hottest new star, JAKE OWEN, will be rippin’ up the stage on Thursday, August 5th. Get your tickets before the 5th and save $5. Tickets are $20 the day of the concert, but you can get yours at Bob’s, Bridgeview Tobacco, Link’s Four Corners General store or Team Pro Caliber Motorsports.
You can find all your entry forms online as well as the generation information and performance schedule for the Fair! Ranging from alternative rock bands to gymnasts and hypnotists, there will be something for everybody!
Grab your cowboy boots or flip flops, it doesn’t really matter – anyone can have a great time at the Fair!
