Longview Downtowners have engaged the marketing and coordination services of Vancouver Realtor Jeannette Palfy to facilitate Downtown Live!
The event was first launched last summer, championed by Ken Botero, Dan Ouellette and Doug Harvey. On four Fridays in August, businesses stayed open until 9 pm, with special offerings and music drawing a turnout of community members, many who hadn’t been Downtown in a long time and who enjoyed the festivities.

CASTLE ROCK FAIR INFO July 15th – 17th

The fair season is upon us! Starting with the Castle Rock Fair, then Kalama Fair, and Cowlitz County Fair. Let’s go and have some fun.
Castle Rock Fair is the 15-17 of July. It seems early this year! Our theme is “Now and Then in 2010”. When doing things for this, we went back to the wringer washer, treadle sewing machine, Model T, clothes, and box camera. Look where we are today with those items!

A blend of Blue-grass and Gospel Music will be presented in a free concert at Centralia’s First Christian Church on July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Concert will open with local performers, STAND-BY, country singer ARLENE ROBERTS, singer-song writer CHRIS GILLASPIE, and will continue with the SHULER FAMILY BAND.
