Gardening Fair to take place in Castle Rock on April 11th, 2010

Agriculture Researcher, David Stottlemyer, will be speaking on gardening, at the Castle Rock S.D.A. Church on April 11th, from 9 to 4:30.

Mr. Stottlemyer taught agriculture courses at Loma Linda University for seven years and finally retired as a researcher at the University of California in Riverside after seventeen years. He now practices what he preaches in Kooskia, ID and has been offering gardening instruction to groups around the U.S. for more than eight years.

The lively seminar will include illustrative material, handouts and some delightful stories from his teaching career. Plus a hands-on demonstration. The seminar is a three-part program covering these main areas:

• Getting Started
• Soil Fertility
• Pest Control

There will be a lite meal, and great information – this is for every gardener or gardener-to-be!
