The Castle Rock Senior Center is excited to present their Calendar of Activities for JANUARY 2010! Happy New Year!
Every Monday: Our infamous Cinnamon Rolls and coffee will be served to the public from 10am to NOON. Suggested donation is only $1.50!
Every Tuesday & Friday: Get that heart rate up and get healthy with the exercise classes from 10am to 11am!
“Write Your Life Story” group will meet from 1pm to 3pm every Tuesday afternoon.
Every Wednesday: CAP offers Nutrition Meals for Seniors at the Center at NOON. Suggested donation is $2.50, but PLEASE call #274-7502 or #274-8145 (by Monday) for reservations.
Every Thursday: Fun Quilting projects will take place from 12pm to 3pm and Pinochle games are played in the Center later at 7pm and is open to all who are interested, so bring your game!
Every Saturday: BINGO is played from 1pm to 3pm.
SPECIAL DATES: Hurrah!
Tuesday, January 12th: Jerry Kelly will present some fun and interesting history of Castle Rock starting at 11am, followed by a potluck lunch at noon. Open to ALL SENIORS. Come an djoin us!
Thursday, January 21st: Commodities will be distributed from 10am – 1pm. You must have a valid punch card.
On behalf of the Castle Rock Senior Center, I want to thank the following group, individuals and businesses for their support during our recent quilt raffle.
First and foremost a big thank you to the Castle Rock Quilters who once again provided us with a beautiful quilt for the raffle; to the members who stepped forward to sell tickets; and to the following merchants and individuals for furnishing additional gifts for our raffle: Bredfield’s True Value, Castle Rock Bakery, Castle Rock Building Supply, Castle Rock NAPA, Castle Rock Pharmacy, Georgia Cox, El Compadre, Gift and Beauty Nook, Hillcreek Outdoors, Lacey Rha’s Cafe, Les’s Barber Shop, Joyce LeMonds, Melodee’s Mishmash, Bob and Carol Morton, Myron and Mary Nelson, Quaife’s Insurance, Gertrude Reiwald, The Flower Pot, The Quilt Nest, Yvonne Ward and many volunteers who help to make the raffle a huge success.
