New veteran educational benefits announced
Military personnel who have served at least 90 days since September 11, 2001 are now eligible for expanded education benefits, including tuition, housing, tutors and $1,000 for books. Under the new Post 9/11 GI Bill, benefits cover 36 months of higher education at a degree-granting institution.
