“Travie & Fabio”

On May 28, 2009 over 400 purebred American Eskimo dogs were seized in Kennewick, Washington, in one of the largest puppy-mill busts in the nation.

These dogs were living in deplorable conditions, spending their entire lives in wire cages and wooden crates, never able to run and play, or to interact with humans. We have two of these little guys, Travie and Fabio, and although their progress has been slow, they are gradually learning to trust the humans, to accept their touch.

Their most joyful moments are spent running in the yard, their little paws touching grass for the first time.

Travie is the more confident of the two. Fabio is still very scarred from his former life.

Both dogs will need a patient owner to continue building their trust.

They are both gorgeous boys. Travie weighs about 10 pounds; Fabio is 15 pounds.

If you’d like to adopt both these precious little dogs, we’ll work with you on the adoption fee.
