Birdfeeding, when done properly, should not attract rodents. Mice and rats are attracted to a certain location, not because of birdfeeding, but due to conditions that they prefer. These include easy access to garbage, pet food, debris and improperly maintained waste storage areas.

Most mothers of 50 years ago, even those of 25 years ago, didn’t work outside the home. So did their children get better parenting and more attention?
Experts are divided. Some say parenting is much better. Other experts disagree.
One University of Maryland study shows that women in 1965 spent 5.3 hours a day with their children. In 1998, the time had increased to 5.5 hours, 12 minutes more. Read more

Ann Holland, Mel’s wife and mother of his 5 children, from Woodland has a very interesting story about her husband, Mel, and we hope you could hear this story. There is the story of “just one more day” that will amaze you, regarding this man who was a Toledo Highschool graduate.
