Coin Show set for April 26

Coin collectors from throughout the Pacific Northwest are invited to visit the free coin show being hosted by the Cowlitz Coin Club in Longview, Wash. This is the 39th annual event for the club, which has been in existence since 1969.
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 26 at the AWPPW Hall, located at 724 15th Ave., in Longview.
Vendors with coins, paper money, tokens and other numismatic-related items will greet visitors.
Other features at the show will include a raffle drawing for a $5.00 St. Gaudens gold piece, which will be held at about 4:30 p.m. That raffle also will include drawings for secondary prizes consisting of one-ounce American Eagle Silver Dollars.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the show. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5. Free door prize drawings also will be awarded, and participants also will receive a free commemorative wooden nickel.
Wooden nickels can also be purchased by sending a self-address, stamped envelope and 50 cents to Cowlitz Coin Club, Wooden Nickel Offer, P.O. Box 1511, Longview, WA 98632.
The Cowlitz Coin Club is a nonprofit organization devoted to furthering the education of numismatists, young and old, in coins, paper money, tokens and other related topics.
