We Get Letters – March 2009
March 1, 2009 by Valley Bugler
I loved the picture of Oscar water-skiing down I-5. I admire his creativity in thinking up that stunt and pulling it off. We need a lot more of that kind of whimsy in the world!

Dear Michelle Myre,
I moved to Winlock this last spring & this month is the first time I’ve read The Bugler. I’m sorry I didn’t discover it earlier…it’s very inspiring, informative and humorous. Thanks. I’m looking forward to the next issue.
- Judy Selmer, Winlock WA
I think you have a great paper and I’ll bet you have a LARGE readership. Keep up the good work!
- Betty Petty, Ethel WA
Editor: Thank you, Betty! We have a readership of approximately 35,000-45,000 people each month. We print 10,000 copies on average, and have about 3-5 readers per copy! That’s a lot of GOOD news goin’ around!
(Bill Eagle’s Column)
Great story Bill. I always enjoy reading your stories. I find it humorous that Claudia was more concerned with you hurting that bird, than you falling on your face.

(Barbara George “Sews It Up”)
This is the kind of people that really make this world wonderful. We could use more like her. Nice story, glad to see someone writing good stuff.

That is so neat. I like to hear about people serving like that. It is inspiring.

Editor: Then you will love our story on Jackie Whittaker, found on page 13!
