Humane Society Raises $75,000
March 1, 2009 by Valley Bugler
It was a night to feast on crab. It was a night to peruse the silent auction items and look over the live auction packages.
It was the Annual Humane Society Fundraiser Crab Feed!
Donations poured in from all over the community, and a final tally of $75,000!
This annual fundraiser helps support the operating costs for the Cowlitz County Humane Society, and bucketloads of supportive citizens flocked to the event. Some were decked out in sultry evening wear, and others wore jeans and a t-shirt they could get juicy with crab!
It was a time for people of all walks of life to gather together and support our Society.

The crab was delicious. I’m glad that I could attend to represent the Valley Bugler, and support the Humane Society this year!
