“The Toledo Community Story”, a historical account of Toledo from 1800-2008, is now available!

There are only a few left at last count, and you can find them at the Used Book Store in Toledo, WA.
Price is $16.00 and the proceeds benefit the Toledo Historical Society.

The Toledo Community Story, first published in the early 1950’s, captures the stories of pioneers who settled near Cowlitz Landing during the past century.

The book was updated during the nation’s bi-centennial celebration in 1976. The most recent edition of the history keeps the bulk of the text intact, simply adding a few sections to let readers know what has transipired in the community during the last thirty years.

Chock full of interesting tidbits and great pictures, this book is guaranteed to delight those wanting to learn more about Toledo, or even about the area in general, and how it was developed.

Again, visit the Used Book Store in Toledo, or give them a call: 864-8567 or visit them on 107 Ramsey Way (S. 2nd street).

Enjoy the history of Toledo!
