Castle Rock Seniors – July 2008

The Castle Rock Senior Center is excited to present their Calendar of Activities for July 2008!

Every Monday: Cinnamon Rolls and coffee will be served to the public from 10am to NOON. Suggested donation is only one dollar!

Every Tuesday & Friday: Get that heart rate up and get healthy with the exercise classes from 10am to 11am!

Every Wednesday: CAP offers Nutrition Meals for Seniors at the Center at NOON. Suggested donation is $2.50, but PLEASE call #274-7502 or #274-8145 (by Monday) for reservations.

Every Thursday: Fun Quilting projects will take place from 1pm to 3pm and Pinochle games are played in the Center at 7pm and is open to all who are interested, so bring your game!

SPECIAL DATE: Tuesday, July 8th: Program and Potluck Lunch. Candace Young from Hospice will speak at 11am, followed by a potluck lunch at Noon.

SPECIAL DATE: Thursday, July 17th  Commodities will be distributed from 10am to 1pm, but you gotta have a valid punch card. That’s a must.

Special Date: Saturday, July 26th “All You Can Eat” Pancake Breakfast will be served to the public from 8am to Noon. Suggested donation is just $4. Come and bring your appetite and join in the fun!

Notices:

• Paper Tole, “Write Your Life Story”, and Bingo have all been cancelled until the Fall.
• The Senior Center will be closed on Saturdays until Fall.
• The Center’s Pool Table is available during the hours of 10am to 4pm on Mondays thru Fridays and is free to use.
• A movie will be shown on designated Friday afternoon at 1pm. Watch for the day and program.
• Raffle tickets are on sale at the Center for a quilt, and at least 20 other prizes to be raffled off December 9th. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
