Longview Senior Activities – June 2008

The Senior Center encourages seniors to participate in the following activities. The Longview Senior Center located at 1111 Commerce Avenue is open Monday – Friday and for drop in games on Saturday from 10-12.

Membership is $10 per year, but non-members are welcome to join in the games and activities. Some games have a small fee. For more information call, 636-0210 or email srctr111@scattercreek.com

Lunches are served every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and on the second and fourth Saturdays just before Bingo.

Pinochle: Mondays at 12:30 pm and Monday/ Wednesday, at 7:00 pm. Double Deck pinochle is played on Friday at 6:00 pm. And a regular game is at 7:00 pm on Saturday. A Tournament on June1.

Pool: Every day, but a special Ladies Pool game is Monday 1-3 p.m.

Bridge: Thursday at 7 pm. All ages welcome to this duplicate game.

Cribbage: 10 am on Friday. Tournament on Sunday, June 15.

Bingo: 10 am and 12:30 pm on Wednesday and on the second and third Saturdays at 12:00 pm.

Bunco: Every Friday at 1 pm.

Canasta: 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

Dominos: Tuesday at 10 am.

• Thursday, June 26, Old Time Fiddler’s.

Line Dancing: Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am.

Chair Exercises: 11:15 on Tuesday (1st, 3rd and 4th).

Computer Classes: Monday 10:30 am on June 2 and 14.
